What Is TPEP Anti‑Corrosion Steel Pipe And Its Complete Coating Principle
TPEP (Three‑layer Polyethylene plus Epoxy Powder) anti‑corrosion steel pipe is the upgraded buried‑pipeline coating solution different from ordinary single‑sided 3PE steel pipe. Its dual‑sided protective system consists of two independent functional coatings.
The pipe inner wall adopts high‑adhesion hot‑melt epoxy‑powder coating. It isolates corrosive media including sewage, hydrogen‑sulfide‑rich crude‑oil and industrial chemical fluid from directly contacting the carbon‑steel pipe substrate. The outer‑wall three‑layer polyethylene composite coating contains an epoxy primer layer, adhesive bonding layer and thick polyethylene outer shell. This multi‑layer outer structure resists rock scratches, soil extrusion and underground stray‑current electrochemical corrosion.
